Experience the Marine Wildlife of Wester Ross from the comfort of our Pro-charter, Seaquest MRV. We are the only boat in Gairloch skippered by a qualified Marine Biologist with decades of experience working and researching the local Marine life.

"Ian is a qualified marine biologist and his knowledge and passion for the marine environment is inspiring. A great cruise at any time, but when there are dolphins and porpoises in the area this is a trip not to be missed" - Charlie Phillips (International Nature Award winning photographer and Whale and Dolphin Conservation Field Officer)

Gairloch and The Minch provide habitat and migratory feeding grounds for a diverse range of marine life, from marine mammals such as Whales, Dolphins, Porpoise and Seals to numerous species of Seabirds, and not forgetting Ocean Sunfish, Basking Sharks, Jellyfish and even the occasional Leatherback Turtle and Walrus!!

"Ian provides wonderful trips. He speaks French, Spanish and more and is full of knowledge, humour. Most importantly he knows exactly where to take his guests.

Highly recommended!" - Nick Wilcox-Brown (Professional Photographer and Wildlife Guide)

Because we take the time to investigate the coast line and smaller islands within Loch Gairloch, rather than shooting straight out into deeper water, you also have the chance to see Otters, Seals hauled out on the rocks, the numerous species of Shorebirds and Waders found in the area and of course the majestic White-tailed Eagles

"Superb! Every trip out is a different adventure... Ian can always tell you interesting things about the creatures you see and the history and geology of the place. Among other things, today we saw 2 white-tailed sea eagles and a Minke whale, an otter up close and personal, eating a fish on a rock, and black and red throated divers...We will always go out with Ian whenever we can!" - Ergates Theant (Facebook review)
