A fascinating two hour trip with Ian. His knowledgeable and informative insights enhanced this incredible experience where we observed: minke whales, harbour porpoise, common seals, guillemots, puffins, cormorants, skua, arctic terns, purple sandpipers and barrel jellyfish. Ian kept a caring and respectful distance from all wildlife, but we were fortunate that the baby minke whale was as curious about us as we were about her. When she approached the boat we were privileged to get a close up view of this incredible creature. We wouldn’t have been able to have this experience at all without Donna’s free dog sitting service, and we are really grateful to Gairloch’s Marine Wildlife Centre and Cruises for enabling our trip!
